Ontario Fleet Compliance for 5–50 Truck FleetsWe track what needs doing — and follow up until it's addressed.

The outsourced safety department for fleets with 5–50 trucks. Driver files, maintenance records, and CVOR tracking — reviewed and monitored every month, so you're far less likely to be caught off guard when the MTO shows up.

We work like your in-house safety department — but you remain the CVOR operator of record and the responsible party for compliance.

Built by someone who's done your job. Before CVORReady, Brian Payne managed CVOR compliance for a 25-vehicle Ontario fleet — he knows what it's like to be the one responsible when the MTO calls.

24
Rolling Months

The MTO scores your CVOR on a 24-month window. Every conviction, collision, and out-of-service event counts against you for two full years.

10%
Trigger Threshold

Violation rates above 10% in any CVOR category put you on the MTO's radar for enhanced monitoring and facility audits.

18mo
New Carrier Window

New Ontario carriers are audited within 12–18 months of their CVOR. Most fail because they never built compliance systems from day one.

Compliance consulting is broken.

Most consultants bill you to tell you what's wrong. Then it's back on your plate — which is exactly where it was before you called them. That's where most fleets fall behind.

Know Where You Stand Before the MTO Does

Stop waiting for an intervention letter to find out your driver files are empty, your maintenance records are missing, and your HOS logs won't survive review.

Strengthen Your Position at Renewal

A downgraded CVOR can lead to materially higher premiums at renewal — in some cases 25% or more — or even cancellation. Your CVOR is your most important financial document.

Grow Without the Overhead

Adding trucks shouldn't mean adding administrative chaos. We scale with your fleet so compliance doesn't become the thing that holds you back.

What You Get Every Month

Your CVOR is reviewed. Your driver files are audited for gaps and flagged for action. You get a plain-English report telling you exactly where you stand.

Before the MTO does. Before your insurer asks at renewal. Before an audit letter arrives with 30 days to respond.

How It Works

We don't do one-time audits. We monitor your compliance every month with the same discipline we'd apply to our own operation.

We review your CVOR performance

Every month, we review your CVOR performance — convictions, collisions, and inspection outcomes — and track how you're trending against MTO thresholds. We flag what's moving in the wrong direction and tell you exactly what to address.

We close the gaps

Expired medicals, missing annual abstracts, unsigned driver reviews, incomplete DVIR records — we identify the deficiencies we find and follow up with you until each one is addressed. We don't send you a list and walk away.

You get a clear status report

Every month you receive a plain-English Compliance Status Report with your Audit Readiness Score — a practical assessment of how your files would perform under a real MTO facility audit — plus open items and risk analysis.

Every Month, You Receive:

Concrete deliverables — not a retainer for our time.

Compliance Status Report

A plain-English summary of what's missing, what expires soon, and what needs immediate action — for every driver and every vehicle.

Audit Readiness Score

A four-profile score across Driver Qualification, Vehicle Maintenance, Hours of Service, and Accident Record — modeled on the MTO facility-audit scoring methodology.

Risk & Exposure Analysis

CVOR violation trend analysis, open incident review, and insurance exposure documentation for your upcoming renewal conversation.

How CVOR Scoring Works in Ontario

A factual breakdown of the three CVOR violation categories, how the 24-month window works, what triggers MTO intervention, and what each safety rating actually means for your operation.

Common Questions

The things most fleet operators ask before they book a call.

Do you take over our compliance?

No. CVORReady monitors, reviews, and flags — but you remain the CVOR operator of record and the legally responsible party. Your safety director never leaves the building; we make their job easier. We provide advisory and document-review support, not assumption of your legal obligations.

What does this actually cost?

Pricing depends on your fleet size and the level of service you need. We cover exactly what is included — and the investment — on the risk review call, so you have a clear number before you make any decision. Book your CVOR Risk Review or call 647-930-1961.

What size fleet do you work with?

We work with fleets carrying 5 to 50 trucks under their own Ontario CVOR certificate. That's our operating zone — small enough that compliance can slip without anyone noticing, large enough that a CVOR downgrade or rate increase has real financial consequences. Owner-operators running under their own authority are welcome; carriers on someone else's CVOR are not our fit.

How quickly can you get us started?

Onboarding takes 5–10 business days. In week one, we conduct an intake review of your CVOR, driver files, and maintenance records. By the end of week two, you have your first Compliance Status Report and Audit Readiness Score. If you have an audit letter in hand or an intervention timeline, we can compress that and prioritize the preparation work immediately.

CVOR & Insurance Costs

Your CVOR score directly determines what you pay for commercial insurance.

Ontario commercial auto underwriters pull your CVOR abstract as standard practice. Industry data suggests a carrier with a poor compliance record can pay materially more at renewal — in some cases 15–30% more. A carrier with documented, active compliance management is in a different conversation entirely.

Every CVORReady client receives a monthly scored Compliance Status Report — dated evidence of active management that your broker can present directly to underwriters.

Monthly compliance documentation

12 scored reports per year — a compliance history your broker can present as supporting documentation to underwriters, not just your word that things are in order.

Measurable improvement trend

A carrier moving from 62 to 84 on the Audit Readiness Score over 6 months has a documented risk-reduction story — the kind that justifies a rate discussion at renewal.

Broker-ready at renewal

Better MTO audit outcomes → better CVOR standing → better underwriting position. We're actively building a broker referral program — talk to us if you're an insurance broker.
